Just could imagine standing there and looking at this very beautiful point oft vier! Great captured and very nice chosen black and white character.

Madeline Ellis replied:

Thanks Nifri. I have this hanging in my apartment. This photo was also purchased in an art gallery. I have it here without the sepia tone and that one sold on FAA a few times. My personal favorite is this one.

Wow this is a very lovely photo! Thanks for your visit and comments! What part of Florida is your nephew in? LF

Madeline Ellis replied:

Thanks, Marvin, for your "lovely" comment. It has done well for me and also hangs in my own apartment. My nephew lives in Miami. I am not too sure where his drive-in is. Thanks for the LF!

Thanks, Andrea, David and Frank for your supportive comments. Frank, you had me laughing. I was in an artist's apartment in DUMBO. You can see her amazing apartment in my Brooklyn gallery.

Very nice Madeline! I love that bridge!! Where were you? In the old X-Lax factory? Nah its too far away. On the promenade? Nah too low? In Norman Mailer's old apartment? Nah again too low and wrong angle. I know -- in a helicopter -- right? Or one of the bank buildings that walked over from Manhattan – or in the Brooklyn Bridge Marriott? -- where were you Madeline??

I didn't understand this magic. When I was old enough, I studied photography at Brooklyn College. I found that if I put my negatives in a thing called an enlarger a shadow would appear on photo paper. When I dropped that paper in some chemicals, a picture would emerge. Wow! I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed. I have had four one woman shows and one group show in Manhattan. It was an...
