At 12 yrs. old I was fascinated by this little box called a camera. If you pressed the button and brought the negatives to a drugstore, one week later photos would be returned in its' place. I didn't understand this magic. When I was old enough, I studied photography at Brooklyn College. I found that if I put my negatives in a thing called an enlarger a shadow would appear on photo paper. When I dropped that paper in some chemicals, a picture would emerge. Wow! I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed. Thanks Frank. I imagine I used Tri X. For sure it was my Leica M6. It was taken in 1997 so I can't be sure of the film. I did print this in the darkroom. It was taken on a International Center for Photography class trip to Coney. I appreciate the L/F as well.

I just re-read what you wrote. I don't know how I wasn't amazed that you guessed I used a Leica. I am totally flabbergasted that you were able to spot that.

Thanks Ann and Kathleen! The Freak show in Coney Island is fortunately in the past where it belongs. There is, however, nostalgia attach to the old amusement park where I spent many days joyfully partaking in all the magic it had to offer.
