Photo was taken in Sevilla, 2014. Two young business men hurriedly walk as they talk on their cell phones. They are the young generation in Spain. An old man sits by a garbage pail (symbolic?) with his hands pressed to his cheeks. Dangling from his hand are worry beads.

At 12 yrs. old I was fascinated by this little box called a camera. If you pressed the button and brought the negatives to a drugstore, one week later photos would be returned in its' place. I didn't understand this magic. When I was old enough, I studied photography at Brooklyn College. I found that if I put my negatives in a thing called an enlarger a shadow would appear on photo paper. When I dropped that paper in some chemicals, a picture would emerge. Wow! I was hooked and so I studied at the International Center Of Photography. Now, I take a photo, plug my camera into my computer and the photo I just took pops up on my screen. Times have changed. I have had four one woman shows and one group show in Manhattan. It was an...
